I genuinely cannot recommend JT Data Recovery enough! Over 90% recovered on 2tb Seagate HDD 🤯

I'm a photographer and my full 2TB HDD failed (my backups also had an issue 🤦🏼‍♀️) so I was panicking big time. Another company quoted me 30+ working days, which was stressed me out even more. But John (the miracle worker he is!) had everything recovered in less than two weeks, which is mental.

From the very start, he was super honest about the condition of the drive (the words catastrophic and car crash were mentioned 😅) So I was under no illusion of how difficult it would be or the likeyhood of getting my photos back. He also kept in touch the whole way through, so I never felt left in the dark.

And considering how expensive data recovery can be the price was actually really reasonable for the amount of work involved and for what I got back.

I’m honestly just so, so grateful and I really didn't expect to get much back let along over 90% of the photos. This could have been an absolute nightmare situation and he made it feel easy. I can’t sing his praises enough, if you ever need data recovery, go here. Seriously.

Great service fromJT Data and i would highly recommend. I was devasted to lose photos from a USB stick from a deceased family member so I took it into JT Data. He scanned the device using around 8 processes over night and kept me updated with the results during the day. As the USB stick had no actual data on it we were unable to find the photos. JT Data very kindly didnt charge me for the work he did which was a considerable amount of his time so i am very grateful for this. He was very helpful and explained why that might be. I am please to say when i put the USB into the persons computer using his wifi I got all the photos back, hence they must have been on his icloud all along and not actually held on the USB stick as i originally thought!

Cannot recommend JT Data Recovery enough!! John was excellent. He was very clear about his expectations for recovering my data, how much this would cost, and how long it would take. On top of that, John is just a friendly and down-to-earth guy. Sadly, in my case he wasn't able to recover my data - due to the nature of the damage, it turns out there was no data to recover. My device was returned to me free of charge, and John has provided advice and further assistance since. While I hope I won't need a return visit, John will be at the top of my list for future data recovery!

My Apple mac stopped working out of the blue – one morning it just didn't turn on. At the Apple store, they told me that fixing the issue would result in data loss. As such they suggested I contact a particular data recovery company. I was told that data recovery would cost between £900 and £1900, and that I should then bring my laptop back to the Apple store, where replacing the motherboard would cost approx £600. Instead, JT Data was able to resolve my issue entirely, at a cost of less than £350.

After using my oldest LaCie hard drive only sporadically over the last few years it eventually failed before I could shift all its contents to another drive. We approached JT Data Recovery with a failed HDD that another company had classified as unrecoverable. They gave us a straightforward appraisal of the job, including a full explanation of the tasks they would have to carry out and the likelihood of success. In our case, the situation was pretty much as bad as it gets. However, they offered to take on the challenge and provided a reasonable quote for the work they would need to undertake, which included fixed prices covering all likely scenarios. They struggled with the drive for over a week but recovered 100% of our data.

Had an accident with my 5TB External Hard Drive, and after going to a few places I was recommended John. He was upfront from the start with his estimates on what could be wrong and how much it would be to fix it, he was open and friendly throughout all conversations, and he looked into my drive within a very reasonable time frame. Once he had figured out the true problem he quoted me a very competitive price and it was my decision whether to go forward. Ultimately I was unable to go through with the repair and John was extremely understanding, giving the drive back so I could hopefully try again at a future date. Cannot fault his level of service and would definitely use this shop again as well as recommend it to others.

John runs a great repair service and I highly recommend it. My computer was completely dead, and none of the usual fixes worked. John came highly recommended by one of his competitors (which made me think he must be good) and I agree.

He gave concise, easy to understand advice. Talked me through all the steps and sought my cooperation and assent on each step before he started. I felt my computer and data were in safe hands and he wasn't going to take me for a ride. He recovered all my data for what I felt was a better than reasonable price. He even got my computer back up and running.

It's a month on and still running great, he gave me for advice for the future and gave me the tools and words of wisdom to not get ripped off the future.
I've already recommended him to my friends and will return if I've got any issues. Computer repair is a murky buisness, especially if you are not technically adept, and I felt John did a bang up job.

I have got a Sandisk 32 usb drive that failed to load. Took it to a few places to fix, was told that all data would be lost and the only way was to format the disk. I was devastated because the data on the stick was important to my work. I then took it to John at JT data recovery. The next morning he dropped by my place and picked the usb stick from me. He tried all options to fix it and went as far to cutting the metal case of the stick down and loading the chip directly for data extraction, something I was particularly impressed with. Throughout the process, John was responsible and friendly and kept me updated once every week. I felt that my usb stick was in good hands. He finally managed to extract more than 90 percent of my data on the usb stick and gave me a new stick with the extracted data. While the whole process took several weeks (because of the various tests he had done n the extraction of data was slow), I was grateful to him for spending extra time and care on this job. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience with JT data recovery with special thanks to John. Will definitely use them again. Highly recommended.
